This article has a talk page!Games and consoles with content that was once easily accessible via online play but are no longer so, as the servers have been closed. Not to be confused with games that cannot be played at all due to the servers being down, this is more for content/features.
This category is meant for games that are still playable offline due to most of their content being stored local to the medium, except for their online components, like exclusive online content or online match making, not to be confused with defunct games.
Examples can include Pokémon Black 2 and White 2's unobtainable multiplayer-exclusive medals, along with WarioWare: D.I.Y., Advance Wars: Days of Ruin, and the original Splatoon. Mario Kart Wii had an online-exclusive level, while Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun had an online-exclusive mode tied to the official servers.
