Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is about the Autobots fighting the Decepticons on Earth again, but this time with better gameplay, and online multiplayer for the first time.

Unused Audio#

To do: Extract the TTS audio from the game and put them here

For every dialogue file in which Starscream mentions Long Haul in the tutorial, there is another unused one where he mentions Sideways, maybe hinting at Sideways being playable in the first part of the tutorial instead of Long Haul at one point.

There are several unused voicelines that use English text to speech, like the last game.

Unused Characters#

With .str swapping, it's possible to play as these characters.

• bumblebeeinvert.str: A reskin of Bumblebee based on his Stealth Bumblebee toy, but with missing sounds. This would later release as DLC.
• jetfire.str: The boss version of Jetfire that is fought in the level Desert Massacre in the Decepticon Campaign. He was later released as DLC with different weapon sounds and attributes.
• dcomscout.str: The Combaticon Scout enemy has a .str file which can be used to play as him. He has a unique turret that controls differently compared to other vehicle weapons.
• dcomsniper.str: The Combaticon Sniper enemy has a .str file which can be used to play as him. It's best to replace Grindor (blackout.str) with him as he is the only playable helicopter character.
• dcomwarrior.str: The Combaticon Warrior enemy has a .str file which can be used to play as him.

Unused Maps#

Using .str swapping, it's possible to load into these maps within the campaign/multiplayer. But depending on which map you replace, they will have varying levels of collision and overall functionality.

• mp_cairo_ruins: A multiplayer version of the Cairo Ruins map from the Campaign.
• mp_cairo_city: An early version of the Sandstorm DLC map.
• mp_west_canals: A multiplayer version of the West Canals map from the Campaign.

Unused Missions#

To do: List each mission by filename

There are unused missions for both campaigns.
