what's this?

this is an unofficial attempt to try to preserve and archive The Cutting Room Floor and the SiIvaGunner wiki. i scrape them regularly and upload it to a cloudflare worker to attempt to make a faster, more reliable version of the original site, api and an mcp server.

this page is not monetized in any way. i encourage you to check out the official website. (assuming you haven't gotten your isp's range blocked by their "anti-abuse" yet)

questions

tcrf went down for about a week because of a problem (?) with their upstream provider, and there was no public copy of it anywhere. i made this so that doesn't happen again. also, tcrf has started aggressively blocking vpns, random ip ranges, and constantly sending out weird referrer checks, which makes it annoying to use.

no. the first scrape ran at a reasonable rate against pages cloudflare had already cached, and i saw no latency increase on tcrf while it ran. scraped data is not used to train generative ai models.

mostly. pngs and gifs over 16 kb were converted to webp. everything else (jpgs, audio, video) is byte-for-byte what tcrf serves. as for articles, they might be slightly off, as tcrf blocks exporting wikitext for anti-abuse reasons and i had to parse their html myself.

i run a free best-effort api for tcrf along with an mcp server, so you could, for example, add tcrf instant answers to your metasearch engine. please credit tcrf when you reuse anything.
