Unused Showcase Match#
Mockup images for Showcase mode shows that Rey's bout against New Japan Pro Wrestling legend Jushin "Thunder" Liger at Starrcade '96 was planned for inclusion, ultimately not making the cut due to the labyrinthine licensing issues surrounding Liger. The Showcase page for the match remains in the game's code complete with placeholder text and unlockable indicators, likely for the arena and Rey's Starrcade '96 attire. The Starrcade '96 arena is available in the game's VC store and Rey's attire from that event was later made DLC for next-gen versions of the game. There also exists a mockup for the pause menu of the match with the objective "Attack & Dam(a)ge Liger's Arms!". Although the screenshot used is from an extremely early build of the game of a match between John Cena and The Undertaker.

Oddities#
Object Clipping#
Like WWE 2K20's MyCareer mode, objects will tend to clip through the superstar depending on how tall your superstar is. Notably here, the superstar's finger clips through the phone.

Settable Attire Tab#
Likely a leftover from the MyCareer mode of WWE 2K20, there is a tab that can occasionally be seen in the Create A Superstar suite of the MyRise mode labeled, "SETTABLE." It serves no purpose due to locked attire pieces simply having a lock icon in the bottom right hand corner of the attire's icon. And also due to the fact that MyRise doesn't use the Loot Packs system and it allows you to create your own superstar whatever you want it to be without restrictions, in which this Attire Tab would mainly be used for.
