WCW/nWo Thunder, named after WCW's B-show that fans barely watched, is basically a roster update to WCW Nitro, with some unexpected hidden characters. Like with Nitro, the "pick me" promos are the best part, starring an incredibly bored Sting, Goldberg roaring while trying not to wake the neighbors, and Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart at his most psychotic.
Notable for being THQ's last WCW game before jumping ship to the WWF, as well as being the last WCW game released prior to the infamous Fingerpoke of Doom just four days later.
