Unused Video#
EAHD.VP6 is the "EA | HD" logo video, used in many EA games released in 2005 and 2006. Technically a leftover from the Xbox 360 version of Burnout Revenge.
Unused Graphics#
Button Icons#
The texture sheet for the Burnout Store contains a couple of leftover button icons from the PlayStation 3 version.
Fonts#

Two unused fonts, both with the same metallic texture overlay.
Placeholder#
A generic placeholder texture. Was used for the icons for content in the Burnout Store.
"Kriger" Rai-Jin Turbo#

Texture maps for the Rai-Jin Turbo have "Kriger" graphics in them which aren't shown on the vehicle, as the vehicle's manufacturer is Nakamura.

Unused Audio#
NULL.SNS#
A blank SNS file, probably used as a placeholder during development. As you might expect, it's silent.
Race Start Music#
An earlier version of the music that plays at the start of a race.

This is Burning Home Run. You are the runner. Race through four checkpoints to win, but if a player takes you down, they become the runner. |

This is Home Run. You are the runner. Race through four checkpoints to win, but if a player takes you down, they become the runner. |
|
This is Burning Home Run. Do whatever you can to stop the runner from reaching four checkpoints. Take the runner down to take their place. The first runner through four checkpoints wins. |
|
Dialog describing an online mode called Burning Home Run - or "Course Poursuite" (Pursuit Race) in the French version - can be found among the dialog for Freeburn. A similar game mode would eventually be implemented in the form of Cops and Robbers, though the Cops and Robbers DLC was never released for the Windows version.
Music Track#
Lifetime - Haircuts and T-Shirts from Burnout Dominator's soundtrack is still present in SOUNDS, as LIFETIME.SNS. Given how much of this game's soundtrack is comprised of songs from Dominator, this one was probably supposed to be in the game, but for whatever reason, was left unused.

Unreleased Sponsor Cars#

|
This needs some investigation. |

Junkyard Icon |
|---|---|---|---|
Blu-Ray Hawker |
One of multiple unreleased sponsor vehicles. This one is for Blu-Ray, the disc format used then-exclusively by the PlayStation 3. If it had been released, it would most likely have been exclusive to that platform. |
||
Target Überschall 8 |
Take aim, then take down the opposition with this remodeled Uberschall 8, custom-built for Target. |
Another sponsor vehicle. This one is for Target. It can be found by doing a glitch. However, said glitch was patched in the Cagney update. The Junkyard icon is using an early model of the Überschall 8 which closely resembles the Modified Super from Burnout 3: Takedown. |
|
Tilly's Custom |
The chic Tilly's Reliable Custom is an essential inclusion to the garage of any fashion-conscious Burnout driver. If it's not here...it's not happening. |
Another sponsor car. Same as above, and it can be found using the same glitch as well. |
|
Yodobashi Custom |
Yodobashi exclusively bring you this funky Hydros Custom. Get out there and chain some Burnouts! |
Yet ANOTHER sponsor car. Do we even need to write the same thing again? |

Online Cars#
As a result of online services being shut down, these vehicles can no longer be driven or unlocked without using mods.

Nakamura Rai-Jin Turbo |
The all new Nakamura Rai-Jin Turbo is a Boost-free, back to basics reinvention of the GT sports car. High mechanical grip makes it quick and nimble through traffic, but the rear engine/rear wheel drive configuration means that when the back end does step out, it steps out with conviction! |
This vehicle was only available in the junkyard after entering online mode. |
|
Hunter Olympus |
The streets of Paradise City have a new king! The Olympus is the biggest and strongest vehicle Hunter has ever produced. Feeble rivals and insignificant commuters now have all the impact of bugs hitting the windshield. It may be slow, and has no boost, but drivers with the skill to coax it up to top speed will be damn near unstoppable. |
Much like the Rai-Jin Turbo, this was only available in the junkyard after entering online mode. |
|
Krieger Carbon Überschall 8 |
Awarded for completing two full sets of Freeburn Challenges, this special Überschall 8 has been converted to run on Stunt Boost. Whiplash also comes as standard. A neck-brace is advised. |
This vehicle could only be unlocked by completing two sets of online Freeburn Challenges. If unlocked prior to the server shutdown, this vehicle can still be used in offline mode. |
|
Jansen P12 Diamond |
Jansen only offer ultra-exclusive Diamond Edition P12 to a very selective clientele. Its show-stopping looks are matched by heart-stopping performance, making it THE definitive P12. |
This vehicle was unlocked by completing all 500 online Freeburn Challenges. As this requires the Big Surf Island expansion, PC players were unable to acquire it normally. If unlocked prior to the server shutdown, this vehicle can still be used in offline mode. Interestingly enough, this vehicle is fully functional in the PC version and can be driven using mods. |

Kitano Hydros Micromania Custom |
The Micromania team bring their own Gallic flair to this exclusive Hydros Custom. Vive la Burnout! |
Sponsor cars were never unlockable in the PC version. Despite this, the Micromania Custom is fully usable and can be driven with mods. It is the only sponsor car to actually be usable on the PC version. |
|
The Chrome Car |
Built for a special effects team, this unique ride can take plenty of punishment and always comes up shiny. |
Obvious testing car. It can be found by doing the same glitch used to find the unreleased sponsor cars. |

Burnout WOW#
Similar to Point of Impact, if the player earns a Burnout Boost Chain with a Speed type vehicle and successfully goes above 99, the counter says “WOW” instead of 100.
Demo differences#
In international versions, you drive the Hunter Cavalry. In the Japan version it is the Ikusa GT instead. The PC demo in turn allows exploring the whole map and smash billboards, gates and do super jumps, and can unlock up to 5 cars. As it is a demo, fewer events are included.
