Unused Graphics#

Present in the PlayStation 3 version, there is a save icon of two idols that look like Reika Kitakami and Momoko Suou (who was originally called Rinko in early stages of development) respectively, neither of which would appear in the series until THE iDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE!.

Costumes#

Players can't actually use spring/summer or autumn/winter casual outfits during lives, so their descriptions go unused.

Menu Descriptions#

Descriptions for various cut modes that exist in the PlayStation 3 version.

女性プロデューサーとなって、男性アイドルをプロデュースしましょう。

Mode that would have let you play as a female producer and produce the male idols.

あなたが選んだアイドルたちの、グラビア写真を、好きな場所で撮ることができます。

Gravure mode ended up being released as a separate series of games, named THE iDOLM@STER GRAVURE FOR YOU!.

女の子たちのプライベート満載の、アイドラを視聴できます。

There was some idol drama DLC in previous games so this would probably be similar.

Some mode where you would spend time with an idol in a small room. It is possible that this is similar to the mode in THE iDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS STARLIT STAGE, a game that was released in 2015 for mobile devices.

Figure viewing isn't present in this game.

A PlayStation 3 version was released months later, containing bonus content. Some of them consist of DLC from the Xbox 360 version, but some of the content is exclusive to the former.

Changes from the Xbox 360 version#

Two new songs are included, READY!! and Nanairo Button.
A Hard difficulty mode was added, where the costumes and songs the rival groups perform are changed.
A new story has been added after the campaign, consisting of Azusa, Iori and Ami.
The Punkish Gothic DLC is not included for unknown reasons.
The unused Pose Lesson Tutorial text (as shown above) has been removed.
An unused save icon is present on the game's disc, which is shown above.

Xbox 360	PlayStation 3

All BGM files now properly play at 48000 Hz (rather than 47997-9), which even includes the unused DUMMY1 music.
