To do:

  • Need images for an unused texture from test rooms that has more purple color than what is used in-game.
  • What is "powerrate 0.00000?"

Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games takes Mario, Sonic and all of their friends to the Sochi Olympics in glorious HD on the Wii U! Unlike other games in the series, there was no handheld counterpart, a trait shared only with their 2020 outing on the switch.

E3 version's Mentions#

Scattered everywhere are references to an E3 version.

An example of this is:

/storage_mlc/usr/title/00050000/1010c800/content/surfride/cmn/bg_e3_drc.bfres

Codename#

The .rpx file is called Urals, which is a mountain range in Russia.

Build Time#

In the root of the game's file there is a file called buildtime, and it contains this:

r51611EU
Sep 20 2013 21:31:02

European version

Debug#

Many debug-related files remain in the game's files, including remnants of a texture viewer, a line viewer, a collision viewer and probably more.

There is also an auto_test folder with MANY MANY tests (40-ish) to test each sport and features separately.
