Sonic Rivals 2

Sonic Rivals 2 is the sequel to Sonic Rivals and the final Sonic title on the PlayStation Portable. Dr Eggman Nega(Disguised as Dr Eggman) is once again trying to destroy the world by releasing Ifrit, a demonic bird-like deity that devours Chao(s). This leads to Sonic and several other characters attempting to figure out what's going on while racing each other. Also unlike the previous entry, this title features full voice acting and Miles Tails Prower, Rouge the Bat, and Espio the Chameleon as playable characters.

Unused Areas#

Test Room#

Like with the first game, there's an unused test room named TEST_ROOM2.STR. However, this one is way different way and can be explored. It features long grass pathways, some springs, the barrel from act one of Blue Coast, and a bright blue sky. It's impossible to touch the goal ring though, since the stage ends right before you can reach it.

Removed Test Rooms#

STR_EN.TXT shows there were even more test rooms than the previous entry. Again, the only one that remains is the second test room.
