There's an unused test room named "TEST_ROOM2.STR" that can be accessed by swapping it out with a different stage. Loading it in reveals a white checkered room with a long white platform surrounded by water and mist. Unfortunately, due to the lack of a starting point, it's impossible for the player or the opponent to move at all.
STR_EN.TXT shows there were once other rooms used for testing purposes. All of them except for second test room were removed from the files.
