Linux games

A large family of Unix-like operating systems based on the free and open source Linux kernel. While originally only commonly seen on servers, smartphones, and the occasional embedded system, Linux has seen rising popularity in home computers. Thanks in part to the popularity of the Humble Bundle, a number of Valve-led initiatives of varying success levels, and the emergence of the Vulkan graphics API, Linux has become a viable alternative to Windows for many gamers. Technically, it's also GNU/Linux, but no games exist for Linux by itself.
