Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell

To do: Check for more Saints Row IV Leftovers. Unused Vehicles Prerelease page, with some footage of an earlier build of the game shown in Volition's Saints Row 10th anniversary stream. Notably with many differences such as Gat having a different outfit.

Saints Row 4.5, Now with a limited edition Hell overworld in which Johnny Gat and Kinzie Kensington arrive to in order to save the Boss after an incident with a cursed Ouija board.

This would be the only Saints Row game to have save file compatibility with Saints Row IV, as the player's custom boss will make an appearance if that save file is present. Despite this, one of the Male voice actors Troy Baker (who was the 1st Male voice in the third and fourth game) doesn't return to do his role, instead Nolan North replaces him with a good voice impression.

This game would be the last game to feature the original Saints cast, as a new set of Saints replaced them.

Placeholder Vehicle Logos#

Two logos for placeholder vehicles, which simply say the "Demonic Sports Car" and the "Sinterpol Tank".

Radio Stations#

Gat Out of Hell does not have a radio on foot or in cars. While this technically isn't used, there is a possibility most people will not hear the music during their playthrough. They can be heard from passing cars, but hijacking them will instantly mute the music playing from the vehicle. The radio function itself is disabled by default, but can be brought back with modding (brings back the keybinds to switch in the weapons menu, or in cars).

Additionally, in sounds_common.vpp_pc, there are .bnk_pc archives for all radio stations from Saints Row IV. Only the Newscast archives and GenX have a higher byte size than the other leftover Radio Stations.

The songs that briefly play from the cars are actually new licensed tracks, which are played from the internal GenX soundbanks and aren't even credited in the music licenses section of the credits. The following is a list;

Unused Diversion#

Streaking#

Since Gat out of Hell doesn't have a character customization option, you cannot streak in the game. The option to streak can be seen, if you change Johnny Gat or Kinzie to one of the NPCs in the game. The prompt happens because the game treats NPCs as all being naked.

Development Oversight#

During the beginning cutscene where the boss character gets sucked into the portal to Hell, if the boss were to be female, their face will instead have a blank neutral expression.
