Palworld is your typical open-world survival crafting game, but with Pokémon-like creatures. It garnered quite a bit of controversy for its depictions of said creatures wielding guns and being made to work in sweatshop-like conditions (and for their design similarities to the Pokémon themselves), which ultimately served to propel it into becoming one of the viral hits of 2024.

Oddities#
- Despite all other Pal variants being a simple retexture of the base version Smokie Cryst seems to have a slightly different texture to base Smokie (slightly different eye sizes, right eye being visible, slightly different mouth).
- Nitemary and Nitemary Botan have slightly differently positioned right eyes.
- Kingpaca Cryst's bounty medal calls it "Ice Kingpaca".
- The Pierdon boss and its bounty medal calls it Kuprok, which is the only instance of a boss' name not matching its species.
