This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion. Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?
Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper is the first portable version of Alpha 3, named after a Japan-only arcade revision. While lacking much of the previous console-exclusive content due to GBA's limited cartridge size and button layout, it retains the full 35 characters from prior versions, and adds three more fighters from Capcom vs. SNK 2 (Maki, Yun, and Eagle).
The arcade version of Upper was eventually released worldwide for consoles in 2025 as part of Capcom Fighting Collection 2.
At offset 0xDFCFC is text for the stage select. Unlike the other ports, this one doesn't have a stage select, and only uses 15 of these stages. The complete list would find use in the Training modes of Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max and Street Fighter Alpha Anthology.

At 0xDFE7A is text for an Ending Mode. Possibly a scrapped option to preview character endings? It should be noted that with the exception of Evil Ryu and Dictator, all characters share the same generic ending on this version due to cartridge space, so this rendered it useless.
ENDING MODE
At 0xDFEBE is text for the World Tour mode. The World Tour mode is absent on this game, rendering this unused.
WORLD TOUR
At 0xE06B4 is a leftover text from the Japanese version's Training pause menu for the CPU options, where it was renamed CPU-Character in other regions.
