Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers is an updated port of Super Turbo released to celebrate Street Fighter‍ 's 30th Anniversary which adjusts the game's balance (although not enough to sway competitive players from Super Turbo), adds Evil Ryu and Violent Ken to the roster, the ability to create custom character colors, and also includes new modes like Buddy Battle, and the exclusive Street Fighter IV/Street Fighter V-styled "Way of the Hado" FPS battle mode!

To do:

  • Investigate into the game and it's .ARC files for unused content if there is any.
  • More regional differences.
  • Document the rest of Ono's unused lines. There's quite a few.

Unused Yoshinori Ono Announcer#

There are voice clips for an unused announcer in the files, voiced by former Street Fighter series producer Yoshinori Ono.

Buddy Battle#

The theme song for the series' 30th anniversary in the Japanese version of the game is a new version of "Itoshisa to Setsunasa to Kokoro Tsuyosa To" from Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie performed by May'n. It is played in-game when Ryu and Ken both fight against M. Bison in the Buddy Battle mode instead of M. Bison's theme (which is also a reference to the film's climax scene), in which it can only be played if DLC is installed.

Way of the Hado#

放て! 波Do拳

Way of the Hado

This special FPS battle mode is known as "放て! 波Do拳" ("Unleash! Ha Do Ken") in Japan, and as "Way of the Hado" elsewhere.
