Street Fighter IV

After a 12-year hiatus, Street Fighter IV brings the World Warriors' 2D fighting madness into 3D, while introducing the new Focus Attack system to pull off cinematic-style Ultra Combos and command throws with skill! Abel, C. Viper, Rufus, El Fuerte, Seth, and Gouken enter as newcomers, while Cammy, Dan, Fei-Long, Gen, Rose, and Sakura make their return. The console version introduced eight additional characters for a total of 25 playable fighters, as well as full English and Japanese voice acting, a first for the series.

Character Names#

This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.
Specifically: Is the name region swap on the PS3 version dependent on the console region or the system language?

Similar to previous Street Fighter titles, some of the characters have different names in the Japanese version. In the PlayStation 3 version, if the Japanese version is played on a console from another region, the international names are used, and vice versa.
