This is a sub-page of Deltarune/Chapter 4.
Platform Differences#
Mike Room#
The Mike room, its minigames, and boss fight play differently on the Nintendo Switch 2 version, making use of the ability of the Switch 2 Joy-Cons to be used as a pair of mice. The PC version uses one mouse, and has several gimmicks using a microphone to control various aspects, which are absent from the Switch 2 version. On consoles other than Switch 2, the battle is essentially the same as the PC version when a microphone is not connected, with the analog stick controlling the "mouse" while the shoulder button controls the "volume".

Achievementless Special Message#
Watch on YouTubeThe PlayStation version is the only one to feature achievements/trophies. Many of them are extremely basic common actions; such as "taking damage (X) amount of times" or "use an item". However, if the player manages to clear Chapter 4 without unlocking any trophies, they will be reward with a special secret message at the end of it. Even the trophies for completing each chapters can be avoided, by collecting that chapter's egg, an oddity which seems to exist for the sole purpose of making a zero-trophy playthrough possible.
Switch-Exclusive Flavor Text#
In the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions of Chapter 4, interacting with the light switch that won't budge displays completely different flavor text, making a joke of there being "switch-exclusive content" instead of the switch being a heavy switch.

Console Borders#
As with the previous chapters, borders are used on the console versions to pad out the empty space left by the game's 4:3 resolution.

Voice Clips That Play for a Pumpkin Bullet That Shows Up If Your Taking Too Long#
As is par for the course at this point, Jackenstein's voice clips are redubbed in the Japanese-language version. Interestingly, this leads to the tutu gag being slightly reworked; since the "too too" pun is specific to English, the Japanese version sentence mixes Jackenstein's first line in that section as "カ ワ イ す ぎ" (kawaii sugi, "too cute") and his second as "すきすき" (suki suki, "I like it a lot"). Both regions still get the Super Mario impression though.

Version 1.01A#
Watch on YouTubeUpdated Chapter 4 on PC/Mac to v.0.0.086
- Fixed an issue where pressing up on the keyboard was required to move out of a present, regardless of key binding.
- Small graphical alteration to a certain scene.
- An animated sequence of a red rose forming and then wilting away, playing right after the player forces Kris to stab the Thorn into Noelle's hand. The animation was replaced by the red dot from the later Noelle prayer scene, which was one of the original first frames of the old animation. Interestingly, the sprite wasn't just disabled in the update - it was removed entirely, with all 23 frames being overwritten.

- Pressing the B key in the fire extinguisher room of Second Sanctuary to block off the entrance.
- Using the numpad keys 2, 4, 6 and 8 to control the moveable piano.
- This is likely referring to debug features that were mistakenly left in the final release of the game. These include:
- Fixed a crash relating to talking to an NPC when it's raining.
- The NPC this is referring to is likely Blue Ears.
- Strengthened an imagery while maintaining the scene's intended meaning.
- The rose has been completely replaced, with the red dot placeholder now an effect akin to breaking glass, although the red dot still shows at end of the weird route's ending cutscene.
