This is a sub-page of Deltarune/Chapter 3/Unused Graphics.
Characters#
Old versions of Kris, Susie, and Ralsei's sneaking animations, showing them sidling along the wall rather than sneaking past with a cool pose.
A variant also exists for Pippins.
Very rough looking example sprite meant for the hidden backstage cutscene where Kris pulls Susie back.
A quite large placeholder sprite for Kris' shadow at the beginning of the Lightners Live segment.
Placeholder sprite of Tenna lacking both shading and a mouth. Based on its filename, seems to have been a placeholder for Tenna standing near the protagonist trio when they're at their podiums. This sprite is actually used by the object that sets up game board maps.
A placeholder Tenna silhouette for the reversed shootout mini-game during Tenna's fight.
Areas#
An early, placeholder version of the door leading to the backstage.
A placeholder for the cactuses seen in the corner of the Green Room.
An pair of early test backgrounds for the game during the 3rd board segment.
Placeholders for the doors leading to the snowy environment at the end of the Dark World... with the humorous punny name of "Dooriel".
A set of placeholder background graphics used for testing parallaxing in the backstage snow area.
Unused "backup" sprite of the photorealistic Christmas tree seen in the backstage snow area, with simpler shading and a more pixelated appearance. Presumably was a backup in case the used, more detailed sprite didn't show up well in-game.

Mockup of the red carpet path in TV World.
Mockup parallax background sprite for TV World.

A bigger version of the blue gachapon machine that's found in room_ch3_gacharoom_unknown. In-game, a smaller version of this machine is used instead.

Other#
A placeholder screenshot intended for the end of Tenna's introductory cutscene. Has the final's text in very simple Word art. This was used for early versions of the cutscene assembled by Chelsea Saunders before Everdraed's final cut.
Obvious placeholder for Tenna's TV TIME!!! logo.

Small and full-sized variants of the "DB-Con" screen, with a bunch of jokey text. Presumably scrapped due to the borders on the screen covering most of it.
Old version of the TV static that shows up on Tenna as he tells of Kris' backstory with him.
Temporary sprites of Tenna's head intended for an unused PA speaker object.
Placeholders for the gameshow screens that shows at the end of each round. Based on this it seems like round 2 would've been called the bonus round and round 3 would've been called the bonus bonus round. Alternatively (to fit the original plot better), round 3 (the City Board) may have been called the bonus round, while Tenna would've forced the party into the bonus bonus round which would've turned into the Doom Board.
Different placeholders for end screens! Interestingly, there are no equivalents of these sprites for Round 2.
The following content may induce seizures and has been hidden by default. Click to reveal: |

Alternate/old sprite for the Zapper's TV Off effect. Much simpler than the "CRT" animation used in-game.
A mockup sprite for the effect that shows up when a picture is taken.

A placeholder version of the Fun-o-Meter and the Hope-o-Meter.
A placeholder version of the gachapon machine in the B-Rank room of the Green Room.
A placeholder version of the gacha ball that Toriel is inside near the end of Chapter 3.
An unused animation of the Toriel gacha ball re-capturing Toriel. Interestingly, this uses a silhouette of Toriel's non-dark world design.
Placeholder sprite of a trash bag.
Early placeholder enemy for the TV Time: The Legend of Tenna game.
Old sprite for the SOUL that shows up when loading the backstage versions of the Boards. Has different pixel scaling than the final SOUL, which more closely resembles the one used during battles.
Early Japanese UI sprite for "special guests" appearing in the Chef minigame.
Much simpler, old background for the Susiezilla mini-game.

A placeholder version of the curtains from the TV Time stage.
Placeholder for a watercooler that, judging by its filename, would've been used during the backstage Board 3 in some way.
Obvious placeholder for Shuttah's photoshoots. For some reason, this sprite has two frames which are identical.
A placeholder tile referred to as placeholder1653. Unknown exactly what this was a placeholder for, but is associated with a racing car object meant to be seen in the Green Room.
Another basic tile placeholder. Not referenced by any object. Referred to as spr_face_placeholder.
Unused, obvious placeholder sprites for... Simtown?
Odd-looking debug sprite for the Stealth movement triggers.
Obvious placeholder for the capsules the Fun Gang gets trapped in during Tenna's Hell Board.
All-white placeholder for Rouxls' biplane bullets, with a rather strange filename.
Placeholder for the locked ranking door sprites. In-game, prison-like bars are used instead.
A separate (and preassambled for body) sprites of wrong body and legs. They are present in spr_thrashbody and spr_thrashfoot, but those two get unused.

Various rough mockups for the canned crowd reactions.
Assembled version of Tenna's IT'S!! TV!! TIME!!! funnytext. The in-game words are separated files.
Assembled version of Lanino and Elnina's weather reports.
Rough-looking, non-Tenna-headed stanchions. For some reason, they're diagonal.

Early test backgrounds for the TV Time prizes shown at the start of the chapter. They look similar, however these are slightly different in shape.

Graphics for some sort of spring. Judging by their filename, it's likely that these sprites were originally meant for obj_teevie_spring, which is the object for the Goulden Son NPCs found in TV World.
Unused Wheel#
Several placeholder graphics relating to an unused board wheel object which the players could presumably spin to try and win some prizes.
A pair of placeholder tiles for a slice of a board wheel. One indicating fun, and the other, riches.
The same board wheel prizes, but with a slightly different design and also now made into slices that would appear on the wheel.
Sprites for the center of the wheel indicating rounds 1 and 2, the bonus round as well as C. Round.
UI sprites for a power meter seemingly allowing the player to decide how fast they wanted the wheel to be spun.
