This is a sub-page of Deltarune/Chapter 4.
Unused Music#
annoying_prophecy.ogg#
Dog Check returns yet again, with this song used during this Chapter's screen. Interestingly, even despite the obvious addition of the Mario Paint dog instrument, this arrangement of Neverending Night sounds slightly different from any of the other versions, perhaps indicating this arrangement was an early leftover... Or it could just mean nothing. It is Dog Check, after all.
Unused Carol Theme#
An Undertale sound of Undyne first appearing, known there as mus_undynescary in the files and as Danger Mystery in the soundtrack. It was supposed to be played in the cutscene when Carol says that Kris is always welcome in their house, but the variable that controls this (carol_bgm) is always false.
Cut Rhythm Game Tracks#
There is cut preview audio for two tracks, Field of Hopes and Dreams and Rude Buster. As these files have the same naming scheme as the used previews for the rhythm minigame in Castle Town, these were likely intended tracks for that.
Furthermore, there are "crisp" versions of all 5 previews, without any filters.
Church_zone2_alt_longer_test#
Alt version of the Second Sanctuary theme. The only difference is that the hi-hat is a little louder in the used one.
sinedrone_danger#
An unused alternate version of the ambience that plays the moment before the Thorn Ring is re-equipped on Noelle. The version that's used in-game is called sinedrone_danger_high.

Unused Sounds#
Jackenstein#
Unused sound that was supposed to play when getting spare on Jackenstein to 100%.
Lol.

Organikk#
Organikk's attack where it generates random sheet music uses six different pitches. There are eight pitches coded in, but the highest two go unused.

Titan#
Strange sound that maybe was supposed to be used for Titan's spawn. It appears to be mus_sfx_generate, the sound used when the Amalgamates appear in Undertale, slowed down by 50% and reversed.
Looping sound for Titan's beam. This loop might have been from an old version of it, since it doesn't sound even close to the used one.

Sound of Justice#
Sounds related to a battle against the statue of Gerson.
There's an ominous, droning tone in a file called sound_battle_bg.ogg. It's heard in the soundtrack version of Ripple, replacing the original backing (statue_chord_basic.ogg) after the more intense drums kick in, but this does not happen within the game itself.

For each spear block sound, there exist a dedicated _l (left) and _r (right) versions of it, which are identical to the regular block sound except playing only on left or right channel. These are never used because the block sounds are already directional to begin with.
Sounds for down directional spear alert and blocking exist, but never used, probably because it would be a little too confusing distinguishing between up and down spear sounds.
Old versions of spear alerts for all directions.
Down: Left: Right: Up:
Queen#
A single straw drinking sound that isn't used.

Other#
snd_choir#
A choir sound that was meant to be used while playing an organ for a puzzle. The code for organ does actually have ID of this sound set as a local variable myinstrument2, but there's no function to play this sound, only to stop it.
Piano Sounds#
An assortment of unused piano sounds.
Guitar Strums#
Might be an old version of Susie's attempt at playing Dess' guitar.
Susie's guitar sounds are named snd_susie_strum_XX, where XX are the sound number. The game only uses 01 and 02, but there also exist additional sounds from 03 to 06. Sound 04 was used in Chapter 5.
snd_pullback#
A pullback sound from Undertale, originally used for the "Chaos Saber" attack in Asriel's fight in that game.
Bitcrushed Queen Laughs#
Bitcrushed version of the Queen's laugh and its reversed version made it to the files. Interestingly, the chapter 2 equivalent is named snd_queen_bitcrushlaugh and is used while getting in and out of Queen's room, while unused chapter 4 version is called snd_queen_bitcrushlaugh_old.
snd_me_2#
Duplicate of snd_me3 under the name snd_me_2.
snd_stepsplash2#
Duplicate of snd_stepsplash1 with 2 instead of 1 at the end, which itself is a sound of Susie's rock hitting the water.
ominous_stab_harsh#
ominous_stab_harsh_2#
2 unused versions of the sound effect that plays when the Thorn Ring is re-equipped, stored in the game's music folder. The used sound is an embedded sound effect called snd_ominous_stab_harsh_2.
