Persona 5 Strikers continues the story of Persona 5 by combining the forces of Atlus and Koei Tecmo to make a Warriors-esque action RPG. The game scrambled its way to the West a year later.
Unused ModelsOh, there he is.
Unused Music#
BGM126_battle_Demiurge_3#
Present in the Nintendo Switch version's BGM audio bank is an unused version of You Are Stronger, named "BGM126_battle_Demiurge_3". This version is purely instrumental, but has tunes that closely emulate the final's vocals. The name implies it followed Demiurge II - Negai (internally named "BGM125_battle_Demiurge2"), possibly as a concluding song.
In the PC release, this audio file is replaced by an unnamed, empty one.
LINKDATA Entries#
The Switch version's LINKDATA.BIN archive contains the internal names of the game's BGM tracks. Amongst these are several unused ones, with no correlating track in the game.

Unseen Geometry#
Leblanc Telephone#
The model of the telephone in Leblanc has an extended version of the handset hidden far below the base. It would likely have been utilized if the player were to make a call, as it was in Persona 5.

Regional Differences#
DLC#
In the Asian regions, the only DLC available for the console versions are the "Sound Sets", which are four 2-song BGM tracks for the previous Persona games. In overseas console editions, and the worldwide PC version, the packs are sold as one 8-song "Legacy BGM Pack".
The Asian console releases also entirely lack the All-Out Attack Pack, as well as the Digital Deluxe Edition and the bundled Bonus Content.
Cover Art#
In the western release, the cover art was slightly altered. In it, Ryuji is no longer being punched in the face by a shadow, and is instead ready to strike.

Oddities#
Internal Party Order#
In a similar fashion to Persona 5, the party members' IDs in this game are in the order that they were introduced in-game. However, Futaba and Haru's places are switched, with Haru as 6 while Futaba is 7.
Notably, in the text data, the groups' Metaverse forms start at 0 with Joker, and proceed up to 7 with Oracle. Then, the numbering skips to 10 with Sophie, followed by Wolf at 11. When considering the shift down a number, these missing IDs align with Royal's numbering for Crow at 9 and Violet at 10.
Pithos' Internal Name#
Internally, Pithos' model is named "H1100_Funnel". Funnel is likely a reference to the high-tech weapons with the same name seen in Gundam-like anime that are similar in shape and motion to Pithos' form.
Ichinose's Weapon's Internal Name#
While not given a name in-game, the model of Ichinose's diamond-shaped weapon is named "H9029_RedJwel" internally.
Checkpoint Icon Internal Name#
The map icons for checkpoints are named "icon_map_saferoom", a reference to the Safe Rooms in Persona 5.
Phantom Thief Armatures#
All of the core Phantom Thieves' models (excluding Morgana) use their Metaverse form's armature in their other outfits, with additional bones depending on the outfit. This implies the Metaverse models were made first, and used as a base for the other outfits. This differs with Sophia, as her normal and Metaverse models both have bones for her braids and ponytail, despite each hairstyle being exclusive to the two outfits. Zenkichi's models are also outliers, as his normal outfit lacks the Metaverse's bones, and said outfit was likely built off of his normal model.
Prisoner Joker's Armature#
The armature for Joker's prison outfit contains 2 groups of unused bones, one at his wrist for chains, and one at his ankle for the ball and chain, both seen in Persona 5. In Strikers, these restraints are not present in the model.

Necronomicon's Armature#
The armature for Necronomicon's model has a group of unused bones, seemingly intended for its tentacles, which are absent from Strikers. The bones are unutilized in its animations, and have no effect on the model. These bones are also present in the UI version of the model.

Pandora's Armature#
The armature for Pandora's model has a group of unused bones within the head. The bones in the lower half are used for the mouth and cheeks, but the ones above the modeled face have no effect on the model. They seem to outline eyes, eyebrows, and other facial features.
H1008_Pandora |
|---|
Shadow Ango's Armature#
The armature for Shadow Ango's model has a mismatched, unused portion of his armature that outlines a body. In this model, only the face and neck bones have an influence on the model, due to the rest representing a cutout. This armature was likely borrowed from his underwear form.

Internal Project Name#

To do: |
Strikers is known by a couple of names internally. In its Steam data, the content depot is named "Gyoza", which is a food similar to potstickers. Internally, a couple of unused textures point to the code name "Masquerade". Other sources use this name as well, such as leaked PlayStation data.
