Debug Toggles#

202DE428 00000001 Toggles noclip mode. Hold X to clip through collision.

Unused Graphics#

The Options menu graphics include Sound Test and Museum options. Those modes are only accessible from the main menu after unlocking them, so these graphics go unused.

While the Info section remains the same as the original, Atlus did not update the illustration cards for Marguerite, the B.S. Reconstruction Soldiers, and Vienna to use the B.S. Reconstruction Soldiers' updated insignia. Instead, they disabled these three cards from appearing in the Info section, rendering them unused.

Unused Music#

In Maken X the song "RISKY" would play after entering the sewers in London, but for unknown reasons, this no longer occurs. The song itself remains in the game's files but goes unused.

Unused Sounds#

FIle:MakenShao IronMaidenCounter.ogg An Iron Maiden coughing. This was used in Maken X when they perform a counterattack, which they no longer do in Maken Shao.

Regional Differences#

In the European version, save points in Amsterdam will display the text, "I was going to do it on my own." instead of the usual "Save the game data now?" text that all other save points display. The Japanese version doesn't have this issue, as it displays the same text in Amsterdam as the others.
