Mega Man Maverick Hunter X

This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion. Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

Mega Man Maverick Hunter X is a remake of the first Mega Man X game, except you now get to play as Vile, along with the capsule locations being switched around and the addition of an anime OVA explaining the treachery of Sigma. The game was meant to remake the entire X sub-series, but as with Mega Man: Powered Up, any further games were prevented due to poor sales.

Regional Differences#

Japan	International

The game is simply referred as Irregular Hunter X without any Rockman branding in Japan. To make it more obvious, Mega Man was added to the international versions' name.

As with all Mega Man X games after the CD-ROM version of X3 (except in X6, up until X Legacy Collection 2), the Japanese and international versions featured different opening songs. The Japanese version uses "Don't Wanna Be" by Spinwake, while international versions opt for an original instrumental track.
