A developer version of the Sega CD BIOS was released by Hidden Palace on September 19, 2026. It is based on BIOS version 1.11 and its timestamp is 04/02-1992 20:30. As a result, it uses intro type 1 and UI type 1. It was created specifically for the BIOS dev team's sole artist (and future Sonic Team creative director!) Kazuyuki Hoshino utilizing a test image he had created for the purpose of developing the rotation and scaling animation effects.

Differences#
- The Mega CD graphic has been replaced with a modified version of the Sonic the Hedgehog title screen graphic, with "THE HEDGEHOG" byline redrawn to read "HOSHINO'S MEGA CD" instead.
- The palette used on the background has been altered to be slightly darker due to using the extensive palette used for the Sonic graphic.
- The version number is not present on the copyright string in the top right.
