Proto:Nintendo DS · the cutting room mirror

This page details one or more prototype versions of Nintendo DS.

These prototype firmwares (referred in the settings as "NITRO-BOOTMENU") are completely different from the final firmware. The settings especially have a strong resemblance to the prototype DSi System Settings (the leaked TwlIPL repo proves that they are actually directly based on each other), indicating that these were just common placeholder menus before any real work was done on developing a user-friendly interface.
