Founded in 1986 with just 13 employees, Intelligent Systems has since evolved from merely assisting with development on Nintendo's major titles to becoming one of their trusted second-party studios, creating beloved franchises such as Fire Emblem and Paper Mario. They also are the current developers of a series whose concept may or may not have been yoinked from some forgotten piece of productivity software on the Nintendo 64DD.
