Famicom Wars is a turn-based strategy game for the Famicom and the first installment in Nintendo's Wars series.

Virtual Console

In the original game, the title screen flashes rapidly. The Virtual Console release greatly reduced the speed of the flashing and removed the background flashing outright, as part of the Nintendo rerelease tradition of lessening the chance of causing epileptic seizures.
