Contrary to its name, Dancing Stage Max is roughly the European equivalent to America's Dance Dance Revolution Extreme2.
Unused Graphics#
KCET Logo#
At the time of this game's release, Konami reorganized its arcade and console subsidiaries, unifying everything under the Konami brand. As such, this screen for the former Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo branch is not used:
Touch & Step#
These graphics are leftovers from DDR FESTIVAL.
Stage Counter#
The stage counter splash screen's assets are still there, even if such a screen no longer appears.
Dance Dance Revolution Extreme2 Leftovers#
Several assets used in Dance Dance Revolution Extreme2 can still be found in the game's data:
Workout Mode#
Advanced Mode#
Course Banners#
Freeze!#
The unused Freeze! judgement would make its last appearance in Dancing Stage titles here. Farewell, sweet prince.
