Cid to Chocobo no Fushigi na Dungeon: Toki Wasure no Meikyuu DS+

Cid to Chocobo no Fushigi na Dungeon: Toki Wasure no Meikyuu DS+ is a DS enhanced port of Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon that only released in Japan for some reason.

Anti-Piracy#

This game utilizes the DS Protect anti-piracy library to ensure that it is not being run off a flashcart or emulator. If any of the DS Protect checks fail, Chocobo will be unable to heal automatically, and Cid will not heal the player during the tutorial dungeon, making the player prone to dying to the bat swarm on the second floor. If the player somehow manages to exit the tutorial dungeon, the game still softlocks before the cutscene leading up to the game's title, denying any further progress.

Dying on the tutorial causes the game to softlock on a black screen, as the player is not supposed to die on the tutorial.
