Real World#
Changed Fields#
Futaba's room (012_020)#
Futaba's room is less of a mess in this build. Rather than having newspapers all over the floor like in the final, she has a small pile of trashbags and two moving boxes full of snacks.

Miyashita Park (001_007)#
A small, mostly untextured map with a road, some stairs and a stretch of ground with some benches that was included in the retail version of the game, albeit missing its model. The map has two stretched textures along the back perimeter wall - one of some trees and the other of a park area. The wall next to the road has the text (仮) みやした公園 入り口 meaning "(Temporary) Miyashita Park Entrance" on it, whereas the back wall after the stairs has みやした公園仮マップ (Miyashita Park Temporary Map) superimposed on the image.
- NPCs spawn in the park itself, but it's mostly impossible to see them without the free camera because the camera is too far away for them to be shown.
- The road outside doesn't spawn traffic.
- Exiting the map places the player in the station at Shibuya Square.
School Entrance alt (002_101)#

Another version of the school entrance with a unique camera angle.
- The player spawns by the soda machines.
- Displays a "Time Change" model with an animation which disappears after the player moves.
- There are two windows on the road for some reason.
- There also is an early Kamoshida Palace entrance out of bounds, which resembles this unused video.
Yongen-jaya Station Ground Exit (009_001)#
The field is named 四軒茶屋駅前地上出口 (Yongen-jaya Station Ground Exit) and is essentially a carbon copy of part of Sangenjaya's Setagaya-Dori Ave (Sangenjaya being the real-world neighborhood in Setagaya City that Yongenjaya is based on), featuring the main avenue with buildings either side, as well as other notable landmarks such as Sancha Patio and Carrot Tower. Some of the in-game buildings still have images from their real life counterparts, specifically the Chiyoda shoe shop and 24-hr McDonalds on the inaccessible side of the road; whereas some parody or are placed similarly, such as the generic karaoke building (a Big Echo location in real life), the Malcom phone shop (parodying what was Willcom), or the Tatsuya book store - located in the location of real-world Tsutaya.
This field was likely to have been an extension to the Yongen-jaya backstreets area, before being downgraded to an exit scene (loading the field without the Field Viewer's 'no leave' option shows the player walking out of the subway before loading into 009_002, which is the main Yongenjaya field ID in the retail version), and then being scrapped entirely. A static image of this field is also used in field 013_005 (referred to as 'Traffic Light'), with a recreation of the street corner with a traffic light, subway exit and crash barrier.
Only the left side of the street can be explored by the player, and unused text has shown that at least two activities would be available (movie theater and working at a konbini). Buildings with popups include:
- A karaoke bar
- Mobile phone store
- Konbini (no model, popup only)
- Cash/ticket exchange shop
- Nameplate shop
- Cram school
- Pachinko parlor
- Drug store (invisible, but with a working shop menu)
- Cinema
The field has two exits - one to the Yongen-jaya Backstreets, and the other to the subway station. The player cannot re-enter the field once it has been left, only via the debug menu.
Yan Quijote discount store (010_014)#
Found within the Small Rooms fields, a store parodying Japan's famous Don Quijote discount chain - complete with its own Donpen-like mascot (or should that be Yanpen?). Here are some things to note.
- The map itself has rows of product shelves huddled together in one part of the room.
- There are 5 copies of a t-posing untextured model for what is supposed to be a placeholder for background NPCs. Interestingly, the model used is the very early Joker model which is named, "2_character sample".
- Although no store mechanics exist within the field, it's assumed that the store would have a fixed camera and a shop menu, possibly selling discount items or costumes.
(051_000)#
This field is completely removed in the final, however it exists in this build and can be loaded! However, it softlocks the game. But a model for it still exists in the files, which looks like a early safe room. Most likely used for Kamoshida's palace.
Palace Fields#
Removed Fields#
Early Futaba Battle Field (252_003)#

What seems to be a early battle field for Futaba's palace. It has pyramids outside of the storm, with a diamond shape that is just two pyramids on top of each other.
Early Kamoshida Battle Field (250_001)#

Seems to be an early battle field for Kamoshida's palace? There are two guards using a different mask design, and Ryuji is present laying on the ground with a basic expression.
Early Mementos battle area(294_001)#

A early unused Mementos battle field. Compared to the final, there's a white and red tunnel in the background.
(052_200)#

A hallway that leads to a prison bar door with red behind it, there is also nothing to interact with besides the collision. Since the ID is 52, it could of been used in Madarame's palace.
(055_092)#

A very basic field featuring nothing to interact with besides the collision. Since the ID is 55, it was going to be used for Futaba's palace.
(055_110)#

A blockout of the entrance of the Great Corridor in Futaba's palace using doors from Kamoshida's palace.
(055_111)#

A blockout of the first half of stairs of the Great Corridor in Futaba's palace using doors from Kamoshida's palace.
(055_112)#

A blockout of the second half of stairs of the Great Corridor in Futaba's palace using doors from Kamoshida's palace.
(055_113)#

A blockout of the third and last set of stairs of the Great Corridor in Futaba's palace using doors from Kamoshida's palace. There's a ball on top of the field that does nothing.
(059_050)#

A very basic field featuring nothing to interact with besides the collision. Appears to be a fighting area with a large chessboard and a door that also leads to nowhere. Since the ID is 59, it was going to be used for Shido's palace.
Early Mementos?(290_001)#

What appears to be a early Mementos? It looks like Shibuya with paper flying everywhere and red smoke twirling around. Some other things to note:
- The train never stops moving.
- Pillars and some photos on the walls, have a mask-like design? Possibly meant to be shadows.
- There are some cardboard boxes, with some looking like they were torn up.
Other#
Title Screen(000_002)#
This field still exists in this build! However it never gets used here. It looks the same as the final besides the skybox being blue instead of black.
