Loose Graphics

This is a sub-page of Pizza Tower/Unused Graphics.

These graphics are single miscellaneous leftovers and don't have several animations, and they aren't anything special. They are mostly just smaller leftovers from various builds. But hey, at least they had a purpose!

spr_finaljudgement2#

The final judgement that is given when the game is first beat was originally permanent. If a player wanted to try for a different judgement, they would have to either delete their save and start over, or start a new game in another save slot.

A textless version of this screen can be seen in-game as of update v1.0.594 when attempting to exit the Halloween Event's Tricky Treat bonus level through the starting point using the Ghost transformation before the game closes itself, but this version remains unused.

The screen with the textless version appears to be some sort of an error handler, because it also appears when doing other unintended things in the game.

spr_palettedresserpalettes#

An old version of the dresser palette. Interestingly, there seems to be a bright pink palette not used in the final game, which could presumably be an early version of the Garish Cook palette.

sprite1343#

The Noise's dresser, as seen in Noise's Hardoween. It still exists in the room halloween_entrance, however it is no longer functional.

spr_sideventilator#

There is an unused sprite where the ventilators are sideways (or up straight). This was used in the October 2022 build in Peppibot Factory as a way to dash with the box transformation. A similar concept was used in Eggplant build, but there it used the standard dash panel. This was perhaps a way to differentiate the transformation ones to the normal ones.

spr_stampedealert#

This is an unused sprite which would warn the player about upcoming cow stampedes, also this was never seen in any build.

"spr_entrancepillarsecret"#

The background pillar decoration from John Gutter with a weird expression. Set to be used if it's being touched by an activated instance of the unused object obj_secrettrigger, a leftover from the Rework era where all the pillars' faces needed to be touched to open a secret.

Sprite27932794#

A simple sprite showing how to perform an uppercut jump.

Sprite2793#

A simple graphic where it has an arrow to show where to stomp.

spr_tutorialexample5#

An unused graphic meant for the tutorial that shows the player how to perform a superjump cancel. This can be seen in the Octobe22 build.

spr_weeniemount_dead#

Weenies used to have different behavior, where they would jump in the air and once they landed, the weenie would run in a straight line. However, unlike the final game, the weenie could be defeated by running into walls.

spr_dashicon#

A simple little icon that demonstrates where to dash, similar to the grab icon.

"spr_youarehere#" Signs#

PTyouarehere1.png PTyouarehere2.png

Signs showing where the player is in the tower, as seen in Demo 2.

spr_controls#

A simple list of the controls, as notably seen on the title screen in the SAGE 2019 demo.

spr_pizzastand#

A stone pedestal. In the Halloween Demo, this was used for an object named obj_pizzastand, however it was removed in later builds.

spr_pedestal#

Another stone pedestal. This sprite was seen in some rework-era dev streams as a decorative platform in Pizzascape, meant to indicate that putting an enemy on it would open a secret, as some secrets involved solving small puzzles to open the secret eyes around that time.

spr_player2cursor_start#

A confirmation for Player 2 to press A to join the game, leftover from the Co-op build.

spr_morthook#

An old version of the Mort hook.

spr_medievalblock1/2#

PTmedievalblock1.png PTmedievalblock2.png

Unused decorations that would have been used in Pizzascape's golden rooms.

spr_holdjumpbounce#

A simple green graphic telling the player to hold the jump button. In the Eggplant build, this was used in Gnome Forest's Gustavo tutorial area to teach the player how to make Brick bounce higher, back when the moveset for Gustavo & Brick was still a little different.

spr_rollsign#

A sign showing the player how to do a slope tumble.

spr_shootsign#

A sign used in the Pizzamarts of older builds, showing the player how to shoot with the shotgun.

spr_treasurespace#

An unused icon showing the uncollected status of a treasure.

spr_candleground#

A candle on a stand, as seen in the unused Mansion level.

Sprite1034#

A simple star-shaped placeholder graphic meant for three objects leftover in the files.
