A no-hitter is a term used to describe
a game in which a single pitcher prevents
the opposing team from getting a hit
from the start of the game to its conclusion.
A perfect game, on the other hand, is a
no-hitter in which no opposing
player reaches base, either by
a walk, hit-by-pitch, or error. |
