This article is marked as NSFW! Back in April 2005, Maxis held a contest for the then-upcoming The Sims 2: Nightlife Expansion Pack. Wherein players could submit Sims with custom outfits with the chance of the winners being included in the final release of the pack. While the contest only judged the outfits themselves, that did not stop enterprising players from putting other pieces of Custom Content in with their Sim submissions. Incredibly through either lack of oversight or sheer coincidence, these pieces of extra custom content were left in the final release of the expansion pack.

Yes, some of the file names are long and nonsensical. When making content like makeup in The Sims 2 Bodyshop, the game adds an ID with a prefix of "##" in front of the texture's original name. So by recoloring the recolor, you get an additional ID in front of the ID, and by recoloring the recolor of the recolor... you get the idea.

Skintone#

In The Sims 2 Adults have three variants of any base body texture, one for being thin, one for being fat, and one for being muscular. The original creator only changed the 'thin' texture for Adult males and females, everything else is a perfect duplicate of the game's third (of four) darkest skintone.
