[JOB 1] While working the phones at the campaign office, $Me receives a call from a reporter claiming to be from the SimCity Herald. The reporter says she just has a few questions about the campaign. $Me could go and bother the council member's personal assistant, or answer some questions himself.

$me is called into his boss's office for a short meeting when he notices a hideous painting over his boss's desk. Like, truly awful. Should $me say something or keep his mouth shut?

[JOB 1] $Me squeezes out of the tightly packed phone bank and goes to look for the council member's assistant, whom he finds embroiled in three conversations and one phone call already. $Me informs her that there is a woman from the Herald on the phone with some questions. The assistant gives $Me the "okay" sign and mouths the words "thank-you". $Me receives 1 charisma skill point.

$me can't let something this hideous stay on the wall. He mentions that the piece of art is rather unattractive and urges his boss to invest in something a bit more pleasing to the eye. His boss looks at the painting, seemingly for the first time, and heartily agrees. $me even gets to help pick out the new painting to take its place. $me gains some arts and crafts enthusiasm.

[JOB 1] $Me tries to free himself from the sardine tin of campaign workers all busy answering phones. As he squeezes out of his chair and out from underneath his section of the folding card table, he trips over his headset cord and falls backwards onto the card table, ripping the entire bank of phones out of their sockets, and effectively hanging up on the reporter. $Me is forced to pay §65 to replace his phone.

$me can't let something this hideous stay on the wall. He mentions that the piece of art is rather unattractive and urges his boss to invest in something a bit more pleasing to the eye. His boss is insulted and asks him to leave the office. $me gets demoted!

After answering three or four questions, the reporter thanks him and ends the call. $Me's name appears that night in the evening paper, attached to some eloquent quotes which perfectly toe the party's line. $Me is immediately promoted to Intern.

$me holds his tongue so as not to offend the boss. He and his co-workers have a good laugh about it later and $me invites one of them over to talk about truly good art.

[JOB 1] $Me tells the woman on the phone that he'd be happy to answer any of her questions, seeing that he IS an official Campaign Worker. After a few strange questions, including "Where does the council member normally dine out?" $Me begins to suspect that something is amiss. That evening a local tabloid runs an exposé on the council member and quotes $Me severely out of context. There's no excuse $Me can make, and he's fired on the spot.

$me holds his tongue so as not to offend the boss. However, his boss later accosts him and asks about the painting. $me waffles a bit, before his boss criticizes it for being "bad pop art" and said that he previously valued $me's art opinion but is no longer sure. $me loses some arts and crafts enthusiasm.

[JOB 2] The controller has a stack of paperwork on her desk that $Me has been asked to read through and assign priority levels to the tasks. About halfway through the stack, he finds some speeches that the controller has been asked to edit. $Me has an okay eye for syntax, and he knows how busy the controller is, so he could try editing them himself, or scan the speeches into his word processor and run the grammar check on them.

The office party is scheduled for this weekend and someone needs to take charge of the decorations. $me is pretty sure he can do a good job with them but they've been handled past years by the same person. $me doesn't want to make his co-worker angry if it's "her thing." Should $me volunteer or let his co-worker do it?

After running some state-of-the-art optical character recognition, he plugs the documents into his word processor and lets the built-in grammar check do its thing. It finds only two verb-agreement issues and a couple of typos, and even though the changes it suggests are actually worse than the errors it's trying to fix, $Me makes the changes manually and sends the documents to the controller. She is so pleased to have soft copies of the speech, not to mention edited versions, that she channels some funds out of the inflated road repair budget and tells $Me to buy himself something nice. $Me earns §500 simoleons.

$me doesn't want to cause office drama, so decides to let his co-worker do the decorations. The co-worker knows that $me was interested in the decorations, so she gives him a few tips on how she creates them. $me gains some arts and crafts enthusiasm!

It seems as though the grammar check somehow managed to replace the entire contents of one of the speeches with the first two acts of "Titus Andronicus," and as inexplicable as it may be, $Me is fired for his mistake.

$me doesn't want to cause office drama, so decides to let his co-worker do the decorations. When $me asks her if he can help, his co-worker outright rejects any kind of aid and $me loses some arts and crafts enthusiasm.

The bill would halt construction on a major intercity freeway that passes through a section of wildlife reserve. $Me isn't sure how he feels about this task. He could do as he's told, or follow his conscience and secretly lobby in support of the bill.

Halloween is approaching and $me always makes his own costume. He's not sure, however, if he should wear it to work on Halloween. If co-workers will wear costumes, it will make sense; otherwise, $me might stand out - in a bad way. Should $me wear his costume to work?

She has just begun to debate whether she should eat a YumCo Tiny-Cake or try one of the new flavors of Mystery Cheese Food, when a racy new sports car pulls up to the full-service pump and honks for service. Should $Me go on break, or just pretend not to notice?

As she takes her first bite of delicious YumCo Tiny-Cake, she notices a golden ticket stuck to the wrapper with creamy gelatinous frosting. $Me's won 4th prize in the Yucca instant win sweepstakes! She cashes in her ticket for a cool §500 smackers.

$Me's boss puts her in charge of choosing a house band for the store. The first two bands to audition are the Naughty Llamas and the Reticulated Splines. Both bands are good enough, so $Me decides to pick from the two and take the rest of the afternoon to alphabetize the store's vinyl collection by drummers' last names.
