Strongholds#

Each Stronghold mission has a completion text string, but is replaced with the mission completion screen. According to the presence of this unused string, Strongholds were probably intended to be played out more like Diversions.

Unused message supposed to show after destroying the last Vice Kings' Car.

Sunnyvale Loft

An earlier mission start message. Likely changed to be more descriptive in the final.

An extra alternative where it involves killing the snipers. No snipers appear in the mission, only those with long-ranged weapons.

Waterfront Rooftop

An earlier mission failure message for missing too many Vice King cars?

Westside Rollerz#

Pleasant View Storage

Intended to display after all the Westside Rollerz cars have been destroyed.

Copperton Receiving Station

Alternative unique failure message for not taking the Stronghold.

Price's Mansion

Failure string pointing towards delivering the car, but the Stronghold ends after going to Forgive and Forget.

Tidal Spring Apartments

Likely removed to avoid repetition.

Los Carnales#

Cecil Park Drug Lab

Message intended to display after destroying all drug equipment and killing the rooftop defenders.

Charlestown Warehouse

Intended to show after completing the first part of the Stronghold.

Likely removed because there's only two Liutenants to kill.

Miscellaneous#

Tutorial Respect Nag#

Unused "nag" phone call dialogue from Troy reminding Playa to earn Respect. They were likely intended to be used at the beginning, in the form of tutorial dialogue.

Unused Pushback Dialogue#

There exists unused Pushback Phone Call dialogue for Adept Way and Wardill Airport. Since the respective Vice Kings and Los Carnales gangs are disbanded after completion of their arcs, and the neighborhoods owned by them are claimed at those times, these go unused.

Early Juror Mission?#

Only subtitle text exists. A similar line would appear in the Tidal Springs Apartment Stronghold.
