This is a sub-page of Yo-kai Watch (Nintendo 3DS).
Dates in Data#
There are hidden dates (arranged via YY/MM/DD) and writing credits found within specific text strings, in terms of the story and in-game dialogue. Most of them are removed from the international versions to make room for the new, localized strings separate from the original files.
Only the used text will be covered, while the respective unused text will be in it's subpage.

Locations#
There are some internal location names that are have skipped numbers consisting of deleted locations within certain areas. Some of the "skipped numbers" would appear in later games like Yo-kai Watch 2 and Yo-kai Watch 3, with the following stated below. Locations coming after the numbers won't be covered due to being entirely new areas.

Music Tracks#
Many of the tracks use a...peculiar naming scheme, suggesting that many of them had last-minute changes or were intended for something else.
- "M__" likely stands for "music".
- "A" likely stands for "alternate", due to Infinite Inferno confirming to be an alternate dungeon theme to Somewhere Really Dodgy.
- It's unknown what "E" stands for.
- Many of the tracks have the numbers "32728" attached to them.
In Yo-kai Watch 2, many of the blank slot names are taken, but the existing slots are also taken, which is unknown if they were the actual songs or not.

M03_sakura_new_town |
Uptown Springdale |

M04urayamab2 |
Mount Wildwood |
Location appears to have been originally named Urayama in Japanese, compared to the final name's "Oomori-yama". It's unknown what "b2" means, which it could originally have been another part of the location. |
M05_furu_retake1 |
Blossom Heights |
Appears to have undergone one revision. The name "furu" is likely short for furusato (ふるさと), meaning hometown. |
M06_syogyoku_retake2 |
Downtown Springdale |
Appears to have undergone three revisions. Unknown what "syogyoku" means. |
M07 |
Skipped Entry |

M08_arcade_retake2 |
Shopper's Row |

Breezy Hills |
Unknown meaning. |
M10_yoru |
