Resident Evil 4 (2023)

To do: Base Game: Preferably have someone investigate the game, so we can gather our own material, like screenshots, videos, etc. Instead of just having a youtube video. Separate Ways DLC: Create its own subpage once we gather enough content. Preferably rip the cutscenes from the game files, and compile them here so we can analyze and compare them with retail. Resident Evil 4 is a 2023 remake of the critically acclaimed 2005 original, and the third in the series of Resident Evil remakes following RE 2 and RE 3, developed with the RE Engine. Now, government agent Leon S. Kennedy's trip to Spain to rescue the president's missing daughter is modernized with reworked gameplay mechanics, redesigned environments, expanded characterizations, and a darker, more grounded tone.

A cut sequence, internally labeled "Chapter 0" in the game's files. Designed to take place before Leon's arrival in the village. The sequence would have focused on Ashley, depicting the events leading up to her capture and showing how both she and Luis were taken by the Los Iluminados.
