It consists of a house interior with different floors, such as water, ice, and damaging floors. There is a healing spot, a raft and a freaking ship taking you to an "island" of sorts, and nonfunctional stairs. One of the ropes leads to an upper floor, with a strangely shaped conveyor belt. Oh, and two locked doors.

There are also some pitfalls and a second rope, which would take you to an exterior area with loads of NPCs. Unfortunately, their functionality is disabled, but there is matching translated debug text in the ROM. You can wander out-of-bounds in this map for some reason. A well can take you back to the previous room.

Anti-Piracy#

This game utilizes the DS Protect anti-piracy library to ensure that it is not being run off a flashcart or emulator. If any of the DS Protect checks fail, the ship on the opening scene will never reach port, effectively trapping the player in an endless loop. This was famously used to out pirates who post messages on forum boards about it when the game was released.

This game uses a very early version of the DS Protect library, sometimes dubbed version 1.00 or 1.02, which is the earliest recorded version of such, making it one of the first games to use this library.
