This is a sub-page of Asphalt 6: Adrenaline.
Asphalt Audi RS 3 was an iOS-exclusive demo of Asphalt 6, released on March 3, 2011. This special version was a contest done in partnership with Audi AG: Players had to race cars using the Audi RS 3 Sportback and set the fastest lap times and records, with a real-life Audi A3 Sportback on the line.
The game was delisted entirely on March 16, 2011, when the contest ended. The prize car was awarded to a 20-year-old Austrian man named Kristan, who was interviewed in Gameloft Video Podcast #14.
Differences#
As the game is a more barebones demo, there are several differences present.
- The introductory cutscene is entirely different, shown in the video below.
- Only one car, the Audi RS 3 Sportback, is available for use.
- Only two courses are present: Tokyo and Nassau.
- Across three races, only two game modes are present: Normal Race and Beat 'Em All.
- In place of the regular track screensavers, unique renders of the Audi RS 3 Sportback are shown whenever a course is loaded.
