A Windows/Windows Phone exclusive demo known as Asphalt 7: Heat Limited was initially a lite version of the game before it was quickly phased out once the full game came with its price point. Another Android demo (which was ultimately unreleased) was also discovered.

Asphalt 7: Heat Limited (Windows/Windows Phone Demo)#

Watch on YouTubeAlso packaged as "Asphalt 7: Heat by Gameloft" depending on the device, the "Asphalt 7: Heat Limited" demo is a chopped-off lite version of the game as a free download. This demo had only one available game mode (Free Play), as well as only one race mode, two selectable tiers & tracks, & only a handful of vehicles unlockable in each tier.

Unreleased Android Demo#

An unreleased demo for Android devices (restricted to v1.0.2-v1.0.5) appears differently than the Windows/Windows Phone 8 demo. Discovered by dataminers & game preservationists alike, this demo stands out for its functionality similar to Asphalt 6's lite demo, including the following:

• Despite being nearly similar to the full premium version, almost all features have a lock graphic labeled all over the buttons, with a new "Get The Game" button replacing the "Buy Full Game" button from the Windows demo & being a larger button located as the 4th far-right option.
• Only 2 cars (both of which are now relocated to Tier 1 instead of Tiers 2 & 4) are usable in the game:
  • Audi TT-RS
  • Ferrari California
• Only the Normal Race game mode is available in the game.
• Only two tracks can be selected:
  • Los Angeles
  • Tokyo

There is also data for an early prototype build (labeled 0.1.0) found in the Android files. The content & data for this version is yet to be found.
