This is a sub-page of Proto:Minecraft: Java Edition/Classic.
Before going public, Minecraft had an exclusive, private alpha shared only with a handful of IRC testers between the Pre-Classic and Early Classic eras. This barebones version only had a solo Creative mode with a tiny selection of blocks, with no inventory or hotbar.
Note that none of these builds are available as of now (due to them only being available for minutes), so all info is based on chat logs from back in the day.
