This build was mainly shown on a Japanese advert promoting the Nintendo 64's launch1 2 3, there's only one screenshot of it, so there's not much information to document.
- This is the first build to use the final Mario model.
- When the Star counter reaches 100 or higher, the X symbol isn't removed, just like the coin counter when it reaches numbers higher than 100.
- Like the previous builds, the initial lives count is still 2.
