WWE '12

To do:

WWE '12 is a fresh start for WWE games, dropping PlayStation 2 and PSP versions and based on a brand-new engine/technology marketed as "Predator Technology" that would power certain legacy editions of WWE games for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 when games for both systems' successors were released.

Meanwhile, the Wii version would use a heavily modified SmackDown VS Raw 2009 engine with lots of new superstar animations ported over from the next-gen versions, a trait that would later become a habit for later versions of seventh-gen versions of later WWE 2K games going forward.

Early Game Title#

In the Xbox 360 version of WWE '12, there is a reference to an executable file named SVR12_DVD_MASTER.exe. Additionally, there are Havok Physics strings such as Yukes_SmackDownVsRaw2012_X360_PS3:2012-02-24.Animation, Yukes_SmackDownVsRaw2012_X360_PS3:2011-12-31.Cloth, Yukes_SmackDownVsRaw2012_X360_PS3. These references suggest that at one point during its production cycle, the game was intended to be titled WWE SmackDown vs Raw 2012, before the first suspension of the brand split in 2011.

Leftover Audio#

In WWE '12, there are a small number of audio files within Wwise Packages (.pck), particularly Music.pck. The table of contents is documented hereunder.
