Town Hall

This is a sub-page of Tomodachi Life/Regional Differences.

Sign#

Although the Korean version of the sign for the Town Hall looks similar to the Japanese version, it had its design drastically changed in the Western versions:

Blood Types#

In the Japanese and Korean versions, you can optionally specify your Mii's ABO blood type. This was a returning feature from the original Tomodachi Collection and is likely related to the Blood type personality theory, which is popular specially in Japan and South Korea. This option was removed in every other release, and the bottom screen's layout was adjusted to reflect this.

The Japanese and Korean versions have the Last Name box proceeding the First Name box, reflecting the tradition of leading with the family name in East Asia. This was flipped for other releases, with the First Name first and Last Name last.

Additionally, an option to adjust the pronunciation of a Mii's first and last names, alongside their nickname, was added to every version released subsequently to the Japanese version.

Personality Settings#

The Japanese version has a different color scheme for the buttons. They turn green as they grow closer to the far-left side of the screen, whereas in every other version, both ends are orange.

Personality Overview#

Unlike in the Japanese version − where the Mii just stands still while the game shows a description of their personality − versions that were released subsequently feature different animations for each personality type.

The colors in the background will also change in the internationally released versions, with those matching the ones associated with the Mii's personality type.
