Taiko no Tatsujin Wii: Minna de Party Sandaime! is the third Taiko game for the Wii. It's more of a party game this time around, so it's got four players and even more minigames!

Revision Info#

revision.txt is, like how it is in Dodoon, present in the root directory and contains a commented-out build date. Unlike Dodoon, however, this game no longer has a hardcoded revision value. Despite this, it is still unused, as the information is read from offsets in the executable. The build date is also different: the executable gives 16:03:47 as the time.

// Mon Oct  4 16:01:13     2010
const char* REVISION_STRING = "$Rev$";

Dodoon to Nidaime! Story Mode Text#

Present in kaiwa/kaiwa.dat is the entirety of the dialogue from the story mode of Dodoon to Nidaime!, the previous game in the Wii series. The file is identical to the one stored in that game.

Cheat and Developer Menu#

This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.
Specifically: Figure out how to get this to work as intended. Launching it immediately after boot gets it to display properly, but all of the options crash. Launching it after boot causes the screen to be hidden unless the Home Menu is accessed, which itself reveals the screen to be flipped and reversed, though the options do work.

The developer menu from the first two games is used again here, and now includes a "cheat" menu.
