Unused File#

Watch on YouTube

anp21p_b appears to be an unused chart associated with the song Anpanman taisou, using the deprecated Battle mode suffix... but upon inspecting the file, it's revealed to be an earlier and harder variation of the Extreme/Oni chart of the song D-tecnoLife. A conversion to the .tja format, which is readable by programs such as TJAPlayer 3, can be downloaded below. A few notes are as follows:

  • The unused chart file is, overall, synced 1.04s later. There are also a few measures running at 170 BPM in the beginning of the song (m1-4, m7). Both of these factors imply the song's audio was different at some point of development. There is a commented-out value in the .tja which addresses this offset issue.
  • The parameters of the balloon note at measure 48 are not properly defined; its quota is set to FF FF FF FF (-1) and its length EF FF FF FF (-17ms). For the .tja conversion, the values were borrowed from the final Extreme/Oni chart.
  • The unused file has no measures in which Go-Go Time is active.

Unseen Branch Data#

Zankoku na tenshi no these#

While the first true branch split in the song's Oni charts only happens at measure 33, the Advanced and Master branch areas before it are populated, though the only difference is that the drumroll at measure 3 has a length of 2530ms rather than 2120ms.

Aisenshi#

While the first branch split in the song's Oni charts only happens at measure 20, the Advanced and Master branch areas before it are populated, though the only difference is that the first Small Don at measure 19 is notated as "ドン" in the Master Branch, rather than "ド".

Furthermore, in this first transition, there are also branch quota values for when the player is currently at the Advanced Branch or Master Branch, despite those not being accessible by the time it happens.

  • From Normal Branch (used):
    • ≥1428 to enter Advanced Branch
    • ≥1664 to enter Master Branch
