Unused Graphics#

Fairy Energy#

An unused symbol for the Fairy-type was found in v1.0.0 before the game's worldwide release alongside other low quality type symbols that are used by the game for displaying energy symbols on the cards. This is the only Fairy type graphical element in the game, with no other Fairy-themed elements, such as a Fairy type deck box, or Fairy type card backgrounds, being present in the game. The Fairy type symbol was likely left in the files by mistake.

All would-be Fairy-types in the game are either Psychic or another typing. New Fairy cards ceased being released at the start of the Sword & Shield era, and all existing Fairy type cards were retired from official TCG play during the 8th generation³.

Unused PvP Event Stamina Assets#

Four graphics for Versus Battle stamina exist in the assets but go entirely unused as PvP events do not require stamina. Unlike the used PvE event graphics, which feature a blue hourglass graphic, there is no associated purple hourglass graphic.

Pictogram Icons#

Within the game files are numerous graphics prefixed with "cmn_pict". Most, if not all of these icons go completely unused in-game. It is not known what the purpose of all these graphics are.

Español (España) Language Oddity#
