candle_placement |
Placeholder graphics that were used for the "Let's Have a Party" VHS. They can still be found within the game's files and even in development video clips. |
T_ENG_VHS_Label_Prequel |
A VHS Tape named "Prequel". It possibly would've been used at the title screen as a selectable option rather than on the chapter select. |
|
![]() |
Drinks_machine_bc |
Texture graphics meant for some sort of drink machine that was meant to appear in the game. |
RadioSet_e |
There is a lit up graphic meant for the Radio Model, or Walkie-Talkie, for having a channel of some sort. Perhaps it would've turned on with interacting with it in either the Control Room or Secruity Room as it is the only two areas they are placed in throughout the entire stage. It has a Channel 1, Zone 1, with a date and time of June 4th, 2019, at 2:40. (It's unknown if it's the run time, or it's a clock time) |
|
Link |
A texture graphic of an oval. Given its filename, it's supposed to lead to a link for something. |
|
T_VCRPlayer_02_E |
Meant to be seen on the VHS player in the meeting room. It never lights up though, compared to the one that is used in the Chapel. |
|
|
TV_bc |
Graphics meant for a TV, with it's brand name being Panoramic. Adding the main texture graphics to any of the TVs is broken though, and even if it was used, the text does not appear. Along with that, it also has back cables for AV, HDMI, ect. which would've been obscured for the player to see. |
|
T_Camcorder_01_D |
Found amongst the graphics for the Camcorder are these labels, which are placed on the models but never get seen in-game due to them being obstructed from the player's view. The first one on the left would be placed next to the camera's eye lenses (across the 30X Zoom text graphics), with the singular one on the right being used for the battery (only part of it is visible in-game though). |
Unseen Bottom and Back Textures#
Donut Box#
The donut box found on the table in the meeting room has a recycle logo at the bottom of the model. This cannot be seen in normal gameplay as the player cannot pick it up or knock it around anywhere.

TV and VHS Player#
|
|
To do: |
Both the TV and VHS Player cannot be seen fully on it's backside, due to the player being blocked out. However, there are extra details that cannot be seen beyond the player's view. The bottom of the TV Model is nothing interesting, just some extra ports and vents on the bottom, but the VHS player has a lot more done to it. Just like in Amanda the Adventurer 2, there is basic outputs of AV, Component, S-Vide0, and antennas. It also has a caution sign for, with some funny text.

Camcorder#
There are two thimble-like objects that can be found on the Camcorder model. Since there is a model that is obstructed from the player's view, there is no way to see these in-game.

Unused Models#
Unused Curtain Model#
There is a model of a curtain, which would be used to cover the three statues in the hallway. This never goes used as the curtains are always open.

Unused Pie Model#
There is an unused model of a pie, where the graphics for it can be found alongside the pizza and ice cream textures. If it were to be restored in-game, it would be placed in the fridge where the burger is. This suggests that the pie was cut sometime during development and was replaced with the burger in the final game. It can be found in the demo version of the game, behind the counter next to a couple of mangoes.

Unused Security Desk and Drawer Models#
Models for a desk, along with drawers, can be found in the mesh files. The filenames for both models have "Security" on them, suggesting these were either going to be used or were just placeholders for the "S_Console_Security_01" model, as that's what is used in the security room in the final game.

Unused Rack Model#
A five shelf rack that was meant for the Security Room, with a stack of boxes placed on them. For why it went unused is unknown, but it would explain about the fire extinguisher in the demo version being moved.

Unused Box Models#
There are multiple boxes that can be found in the game's files, and strangely quite a few of them too. It's unknown why these went unused in the final game. There are also different variants when adding their texture files from both "Rack_bc" and "RackA_bc", which were originally used in the previous game for Kate's Office. These were meant to be used in the Security Room when placed on the shelf model above.

Unused Net Model#
There is a model for a net, meant to be used for the Fish Tank. This was meant for as decoration object for the Hermit Crab's home, where it would cover the top area.

Unused Kid Models#
|
|
To do: |
A total of 15 kid parts can be found in the game's files, ranging from heads, hands, a jaw, a brain, ect. There is even one with a almost full body under the filename under "Jordan", who is one of the children missing from the tapes. These are used in the present where they are floating, but these models show there is slightly more detail that is done to them.

Test Model#
When loading the Chapel Room into a model viewer, there is a sphere that can be found out of bounds named "Test", obviously used for testing purposes. The texture uses the code for the door in the doll puzzle, "When I'm Grown Up!". Otherwise, the design of it itself looks very identical to a Pokeball.

Unused Camcorder Animations#
There are two unused animations related to the camcorder, suggesting it was possibly going to have a more partial role than just a small appearance. These two animations are it's eye viewer going up and the slot where a tape would be found is shown opening.

Unused Text#
In the TextAssets, there is a file under "v_IncompatibleFormat". The text would've been used when inserting an incompatible VHS Tape to the TV in the Lobby Room. Interestingly, the text is also different compared to the one on the TV Screen.

Unused Sound Effects#

Description |

fx_food_pie_grab texture |
A sound effect meant for a pie texture, which could lead to the unused pie model that us found in the game's files. |
|
Crowds, Children, Classroom, Girls Laughing SND0265 |
A sound effect depicting a bunch of kids laughing. The file itself cannot be found in Amanda 2, but is found broken up into ten parts under "Kids_Laughing_forwards". |
|
|
cry-002 |
Found sound effects for a baby crying. This could relate to the Cry Spy object (and the baby in the prologue) in the Security Room. |
Doors, Wood, Open, Close, Heavy SND11380 2 |
A sound effect of a door opening a closing, which seems to have been used for the "logo amanda DOOR OPEN" in the intro where the cutscene would splash on the screen. |
Partially Unused Ambient#
The ambient for the secret room, where Sam was in, has an ambient background when entering the room. In the audio, it plays the script that he is supposed to read from the second game (as the video file itself is also named "KIDNAPPED"). However, only half of the audio is used (which is what he only said on the script) and ends before he says "You can trust". The clip below is the entire audio.

These audio clips here seem they were used for placeholders or testing purposes.

Those rats/mice/rodents/hamsters are so so so ravenous. Hint hint. |
Meant for the Ravenous Rats puzzle. Interestinly, they were also called "rodents" and "hamsters". |
|
Soundly Voice Designer, Abbi 3 |
There is doll in the mirror. How does that make you feel, Riley? |
Meant for the doll in the "When I Grow Up" episode. |
|
Soundly Voice Designer, Abbi 4 |
It's a big, very old, board of stories. You put stories on there. The board. |
Meant for the "Amusement Park WIP" episode. |
|
Soundly Voice Designer, Abbi 5 |
Maggie wants to sit at the head of the table. And she fucking will in it. You understand me? What a fucking twat. Move aside for Maggie. |
Meant for the "Let's Have a Party" episode. |
|
Soundly Voice Designer, Abbi 6 |
Pretty sure you don't get hints for this puzzle. Your fucking dead. |
Could be related to the "Scavenger Hunt" episode, as it's the only puzzle where Blabbo doesn't give the player any hints due to him being no present in the room. |

As the filename implies, this was used for testing purposes relating to the speaker in the prologue. |
Demo Leftovers#
The pineapple, mango, and (unused) pie models were present on the far left corner of the counter in the demo version, for the prologue. These were removed in the final game, but viewing it in a model viewer actually spawns them in.
Unused Clickables#
Found in the "PrefabHierarchyObject" files, there is a leftover from the early videos of the "Amusement Park" tape labeled under "SB". There is also a leftover clickable from Amanda the Adventurer 2 from the "Do You Feel Safe?" episode meant for when clicking on Chicken Scratch on the secret ending.
