Unused Graphics#

Sphere Normal#

A rainbow texture meant for a sphere object, possibly used for placeholder purposes. Interestingly, this also appeared in the files for the second game but was removed in a later update.

Oven Graphics#

Graphic icons of the heat and timer for the toy oven. Most likely simple placeholder graphics that were used during development.

Clock Graphics#

Sticky Note graphics of two clocks. It's hard to exactly tell what time it is trying to say.

Unused Sound Effects#

To do:
Look into "oven_slam", "object_teleport", and "tray_ring".

Leftovers#

Sounds effects leftover from both the Pilot Episode and Steam Demo, that were used in both games, can still be found in the game's files.

Sound Effect

Filename

Description

VHSSFX-001 Play

Would be used when inserting a tape into the TV, leftover from the Pilot Episode. The final game uses "fx_VCR_insert".

VHSSFX-002 Stop

Would be used when the tape ends, leftover from the Pilot Episode.

COMAv_Vcr cassette output (ID 2694)_BSB

A sound effect of taking the VHS player stop along with it being ejected out, which was also found in the files from the pilot episode.

TrueAmanda

Leftover from the Pilot Episode. Would've been used at the end of the game.

cine_BANG_03

Leftover from the Pilot Episode. Was in Episode 3 of the game, leftover from the pre-recording of that tape.

cine_BANG_04

Leftover from the Steam Demo. Would've been used when Monster Amanda breaks the trap door at the end of the second tape that player would collect. In the final game, only "cine_bang_02" is used.

cine_BANG_03

Same as "cine_BANG_01".

cine_BANG_04

Same as "cine_BANG_01" and "cine_BANG_03".

Toolbox#

There are sound effects for a rattle from a chest, which sounds similar to the toolbox. It's possible that this was meant for that. Yet, even so, none of the locked objects in the room make a shaking sound effect.

There are several sound effects meant for the Wardrobe meant for either closing it or rattle around when locked.

Wood Chest#

The wood chest also has sound effects for when closing it, along with the object being rattled around when locked. The lock itself was also meant to be closed, as well as rattling too.

Miscellaneous#

Sound effects that were planned for the final release, that wouldn't fit or be unchanged between the Pilot Episode or Steam Demo.

Sound Effect

Filename

Description

Bells, Misc, Door, Shop Open, Ring SND50560 1

Sound effects for a shop door bell upon entering the building. Though part of this sound effect is used in the "In Your Neighborhood" Episode, it is pre-recorded on the tape. Even so, only the last two bells sound effects get used. Strangly, the filename also has an extra space after "Ring".

Communications, Cellphone, Smartphone, Blackberry, Dialing Numbers SND3061

A sound effect of a phone being dialed, with even hand movent also able to be heard. It's possible this was used as a placeholder during the development of the tape "Oh no! Accidents!" Episode. Strangely, it's also the longest filename in the sound files.

fx_doll_footsteps

Footsteps for when Gren-Chan is running away, most likely when the player can gain access to the scissors. Even if this was used, the audio is very low that the player might not be able to hear it.

fx_shrooms_eat-001

A sound effect of eating a mushroom. There are mushrooms located on the right corner, next to a puddle, but cannot be eaten.

fx_shrooms_eat-002

Another sound effect of eat a mushroom. Same reasons as the one above.

fx_shrooms_eat-003

Yet another sound effect relating to the two above.

fx_trapdoor_open

A sound effect for the trapdoor opening. Maybe it would've played when doing one of the endings in "We Can Share"?

Human, Heartbeat, Clicky, 65 BPM SND13581

A sound effect of a heartbeat, lasting 33 seconds long. Unknown what it was originally used for.

Swooshes, Swish, Short, Throwing Gusts, Dry SND55491

A swooshing sound effect, as the first word of the filename already implies. What was it meant to be used for? There is no clue.

Unused Voice Clips#

Blabbot#

Clip

Filename

Text

Description

bb_04gift

It looks like someone left you a gift at the door. How rude of them not to step in to say hello.

A tape does appear after playing "Riley's Fav Movies". It's possible Blabbot would've said something after the tape or upon collecting it and walking up to him.

bb_05wardrobe

Here is a funny joke. The lion and witch walked into a- Uh, walked into a- uh, wardrobe. Wardrobe. Wardrobe. Wardrobe.

Unknown. This voice clip does reference The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.

bb_06wardrobe_code

Have you heard of rhymes? Here is one for free. Two ninety-three.

This filename suggests that Blabbot would've given the code to the wardrobe rather than the tape "Summer 1984". It also appears that the code would've been three digits instead of four

Gret-chan#

Clip

Filename

Text

Description

gret_not yet

Not yet! You have to wait!

Could've meant to be used when giving Gret-chan's favorite flower early?

gret_tada!

Ta-da!

Would've played when obtaining the secret tape.

Unused Animation#

There is an unused animation for the safe, used to get either the pause button or list of the symbols for the potted plants on the shelf. That being an animation of swinging open, only more faster.

Unused Secret Safe#

There is a safe that is SO secret, it's not used at all in the game. If unlocked and opened, it contains the VHS Tape "In the Kitchen". The model is placed behind a tote under the desk. It's possible that this was meant to be a corrupted variant of that said episode, given the other three having one too. Putting the tape in the VHS Player just plays the same video that was found next to the TV when starting a new game. It also has unused animations of it being locked and opened.

Out of Bounds Objects#

To do:
There is a White Box placed out of bounds. Is it used for the Meat Ending?

Outside the playing area, the Butcher's shop used for the meat ending can be found way off in the distance. However, there are more besides that.

Hidden Objects#

There are ten objects that can be found out of the playing area. These include two bookshelves, a chair, three storage bins, and four cardboard boxes in various sizes. It's unknown why these are out here, but these were possible placed for testing purposes given their strange alignment.

Unused Tape#

This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.
Specifically: Do the main five colored tapes need to be obtained for this to work?

Unused video present in the game files under the name Clip_Secret_Tape_6.webm, is a sixth Blue tape that is not obtainable by normal means. It is basically just a Wooly sitting there for nine minutes.

Editing "save.sav" in a text editor, edit "SecretTapesUnlocked":5 to "SecretTapesUnlocked":6, and the tape will be available amongst the in-game obtainable tapes (orange, cyan, red, green, and purple).

Oddity#

To do:
Maybe add a video?

In the PrefabHierarchyObject folder, there is a file named "E3BS4_AmandaClickable". This clickable is for the second version the player can obtain, when completing the cake puzzle, and is meant for the surgery room where Amanda gives the player three tools to choose from in helping Wooly. This is most likely used after clicking on any of the tools in the scene three times, where the fourth one would be used for Amanda tricking the player into using all of them. This is quite odd as given the name of the file, Amanda is not clickable in the scene in anyway.
