The Game Gear version of Garfield: Caught in the Act is a port that controls better than the version developed by Sega themselves. Also, some people say that this game looks like garbage, but it's actually very authentic to the Garfield franchise; the graphics look exactly like what might come out of Garfield after a particularly bad plate of lasagna.

The Novotrade screen has a smaller version of their logo hidden off-screen at the top.

Among the same tiles is an unused "ALL RIGHTS RESERVED".

Unused Music#

A swingy tune. It's unknown where it would have been used, but there are about a dozen places where it could have been used, given how often this game reuses music for multiple levels. Alternatively, it may have been intended for the credits, which are strangely silent in this version of the game. Interestingly, it is the first song listed in the sound test.

A short ominous jingle, purpose unknown. Listed as song 21 in the sound test. Song 22 is the final song listed, which is the ending theme.
