Promenade (Thomson MO, Thomson TO)

Promenade (Walk) is a little educational game about directional sequences. It was released alongside several other educational programs teaching numbers and shapes.

Unused Code#

PROMENAD.BAS contains two sets of unused lines. They are present in the original MO5 tape release, as well as the TO9/TO8/TO9+ disk release from the Logiciels Nathan Ecoles : Mathématiques compilation.

At Line 5320 is a code that places clickable areas where the "1" and "2" squares are in the main menu. However, there's no more code to properly handle these clicks.

'PEN0;(0,72)-(32,104),1;(0,128)-(32,160)

Furthermore, Lines 5410 and 5420 contain this code, which, if uncommented, causes the game to softlock at the main menu.

'IF PTRIG THEN 7045 ELSE 7046
'ONPEN GOTO 7065,7070
